Refund Policy
Last updated 11 July 2026
Sheaf has exactly one paid thing: Sheaf Unlock, a one-time purchase of $14.99 (plus any applicable tax, calculated at checkout) that turns on cloud sync & backup and the publishing suite, forever. There is no subscription. This page explains how refunds for that one purchase work — in plain language.
Try it before you pay
Every new account includes a 30-day free trial of everything Sheaf Unlock covers, with no card required — so you can find out whether Sheaf is right for you before any money changes hands.
The 14-day refund window
If you buy Sheaf Unlock and it isn't right for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email hello@sheaf.ink from the address you purchased with (or include your Paddle receipt), and we'll take care of it.
Our orders are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record — the charge on your statement comes from Paddle, and refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method, typically within a few business days of approval. You can also raise a refund request directly with Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net using your receipt; their buyer terms apply.
What a refund changes — and what it never touches
A refund pauses cloud sync, backup, and the publishing suite on your account. It never touches your words: everything you wrote stays on your devices, you can keep writing free forever, and Word and Markdown export remain free — your manuscript is never held hostage, refunded or not.
After 14 days
Email us anyway. If something is genuinely wrong — a duplicate charge, a purchase that never unlocked, a billing mistake — we'll make it right regardless of the calendar. Refunds outside the 14-day window are otherwise at our discretion, consistent with Paddle's buyer terms.
